Hey MG,

Quickk question for you, as the subject says, is it possible to record from the new myspace music player? I tried with some freeware I had, it used to work on the OLD player, but now I can't record the new stuff...any ideas?

Thanks as always.

Hi Jason,

Funny you ask, I did a video recently for youtube on how to Record from the New Myspace Music Player using Replay Media Catcher.

Check it out here, have fun, and enjoy! :-)

Record Myspace MP3s

Or, you can skip the 'how to' and just try it yourself for free here: Replay Media Catcher Demo

Good stuff man, is this able to record from ANY myspace page? Also bro, are there any limits as to how many songs you can record at once to?

Thanks

Absolutely, you can record pretty much 99.99% of all songs on myspace. I've recorded about 300 songs at once with Replay Media Catcher. Granted, a few errored out because I was kinda pushing it's limits, but you should be able to click through 150 songs or so and record them all without a problem!

Welcome to the board, and thanks for posting!

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Unfortunately, adobe and myspace updated their streams - sooo Replay Media Catcher is NO longer able to capture MySpace mp3's.

I did do some research, however, and found some GREAT alternatives.

*Ask & Record Toolbar(Freeware/Windows Xp-Vista)
- Don't let the title fool you, this is one toolbar that you'll WANT to use - it's handy, can record audio & video, and it's 100% FREE. I normally hate toolbars, in fact I usually close a page the minute I see one advertised, but this is one I love and recomend to all my friends.

* Replay Music - Shareware (Windows Xp-Vista): unique streaming music recorder that captures MP3 files from any web site or PC-based software. Every song is saved on your PC as a high quality MP3 file, automatically tagged with the artist, song title, album and genre, and perfectly separated into individual tracks. You can even burn songs directly to CDs, or copy them to your iPod or MP3 Player. - Editors Note: VERY easy to use.

These are both GREAT programs, and you can't go wrong with either!

Sucks about Replay-Media-Catcher, but at least we have alternatives. :)
