So what I want to do is his. I have a DVD that I want to take a selected piece of audio from. I want to record only a small piece of the audio. What program can I use to record audio from a DVD that is playing on my computer and save that audio right on my computer?

This is interesting - you could do two different things.

#1. You could use Replay A/V and 'record what you hear'. The quality should be pretty good.

#2. You could use Replay Video Capture to record the VIDEO itself (or the portion of it you want). Then you could use Replay Converter to convert the video to an audio file.

I've done both ways myself and don't really have a preference. Check out both options and see which works best for you!
