I have a tiscali TV package and found I could record a pay per view film with my VHS recorder so bought a DVD recorder to do same however as soon as I press record I get a message saying no can do as copyright protected.

Anyone know how to get round this?

That's tough, so you want to record these from your tv, right? Do you have any cables that let you watch your TV on your PC? If you did, you'd be able to use Replay Video Capture to record them from your COMPUTER screen.
