How to Record Movies on your Pc, and Watch them on your TV using your PS3!

Yes, I know that's a long title, BUT this is probably the coolest thing I've came across.

First of all, you want to make sure you download Windows Media Player Version 11, or newer.

It's not my favorite version of Media Player, but it's needed in order to share Media from your PC to other pc's, or your ps3.

Here's what you do!

#1. Enable Media Sharing in Windows Media Player 11 on your PC or PC's.

1.

Click the arrow below the Library tab, and then click Media Sharing.

2.

In the Media Sharing dialog box, select the Share my media to check box.

3.

In the list of devices below the Share my media to check box, select a device.

4.

Do one of the following:

If you want to share your media with the computer or device you have selected, click Allow.

If you don't want to share your media with the computer or device you have selected, click Deny.

#2. Once you've done that, go to Network Settings on your PS3, enable Media Servers, and you should see the Media Player Icon come up under the Video, Music, and Photo sections.

#3. On the PS3 - Under Video, Photos or Music, select "Scan for media server"
Go back to the PC, and you should see a pop up showing an unknown device trying to connect.
Allow the device, and everything should work.

#4 The PS3 can now stream Windows Media Player compatible videos, music from your music collection, and you can view your pictures as well. It can play DivX files now too.

#5. Enjoy, and make sure you tell you friends about this site!
